Remarks
(This is small map depicting most of Greenland through HudsonBay. It emphasizes the English expeditions in search of the Northwest Passage. This map notes the discoveries in the vicinity of Repulse Bay and Wager River by Capt. Middleton in 1742 and those of Capt. Smith along the coast from Buttons Bary to Chesterfield inlet in 1747. It also locates an incorrect New Discovered Sea in Labrador. The title is in a small forested cartouche in the lower left.)
