When sowing corn, Indians often put a small fish in each hill as fertilizer
Indians breaking ground and sowing corn (from Lafitau, 1724).
Indian women gathering corn - corn, squash, pumpkins, beans and tobacco were grown by Indians, especially Huron and Iroquois.
